In the morning, we visited Akihabara, a district well-known for its electronic stores. However, we were not there for electronics, we were there for more manga/anime shopping! There was a huge Animate store at Akihabara, which I thought was more well-stocked than the main store at Ikebukuro.
After shopping, we headed for Odaiba. To get there, we chose to take a boat from Asakusa. The boat ride involved a 60 minutes cruise of Tokyo Bay.
The boat we took was a very futuristic looking ship called ‘Himiko‘.
And we began our Tokyo Bay cruise to Odaiba.
And we arrived at Odaiba!
We went for a ride on the ferris wheel at Palette Town. We could spot Tokyo Tower in the distance from the ferris wheel!
We returned by rail instead of by sea, taking the Yurikamome train.
