Home >> Fun Time! >> Wet and Dry Play Areas @ Changi City Point

It seems almost like a MUST for new malls to construct play areas for kids.  Not that I’m complaining, because I love them and deem them a necessity for my daily shopping trips with a kid in tow.  I choose the shopping centres I go to based on availability of facilities such as nursing rooms and playgrounds, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who does so.

I heard that there is a nice kids playground at Changi City Point, so I decided to go check it out.  Changi City Point was conveniently located next to Expo MRT.  Okay, not THAT convenient unless you are coming from like, Changi Airport.  From the north, I had to take 4 trains to get there.  Crazy right?

The play area at Changi City Point is a little hard to find.  It is located at the end of the food court, so to get there, you need to walk through the food court and find the exit to the playground.

There are both wet and dry play areas here:

Okay, sorry for the blurry and lack of photos.  I found the dry playground not that suitable for my toddler.  It did look nice and all, but it was more suitable for older children.   As for the wet play area, I think I preferred the one at I12 Katong.   Because the water play area area at I12 Katong had a swings for toddlers and the little slide.

If you are looking for something fun for the young toddlers at Changi City Point, I recommend you head to Petite Park instead.  Unlike this playground which is free, you need to pay for Petite Park.  But the little ones would enjoy that more.  Plus it is air-conditioned.
