Home >> Fun Time! >> Top 5 Kids-Friendly Shopping Malls in Singapore

When I’m out with my kids, I consciously pick places that are kids-friendly.  My mantra:

Bored kids = Cranky kids = Crappy outing

So considering Great Singapore Sale GSS 2015 starts tomorrow, let me prepare you with a list of 5 most kids-friendly shopping malls in Singapore (imo)!

#1  Westgate

Wesgate Wonderland

Westgate has the most amazing FREE rooftop playground in Singapore called Westgate Wonderland.  It has separate section dedicated to toddlers.

There are large active play structures for older children.

And even a water play area!

Westgate Kids Club

If the weather plays you out, there is Westgate Kids Club.  (Minimum spending required to enter.) At Westgate Kids Club, there is a fully air-conditioned play room so kids can play happily rain or shine.  And children aged 7 and above can be dropped off!

They can also go outdoors to the Alice-In-Wonderland themed outdoor play area if the weather is good!

Westgate Social Wall

I super LOVE Westgate Social Wall.  Start by taking a funny photo and decorating it with the stickers available.

Westgate Social Wall 2

When you’re done, flick it up to the Social Wall! Your kids will be super amused to see their photo up there!

And here are some of my favourite social wall moments.  You can tell we’ve been coming Westgate a lot!

Nursing Room & Children’s Toilet

Westgate has a well-equipped baby care room with private breastfeeding areas.

There are also family toilets with short toilet bowls and sinks for kids.

#2 Suntec City Mall

Cool De Sac

Cool De Sac is one of my favourite indoor playgrounds in Singapore! You can find active play areas, a Lego play area, crafting area, dressing up area, TV games area and a toddler’s zone!

> Click here to read more about Cool De Sac <

Polliwogs

Polliwogs is another one of my favourite indoor playgrounds in Singapore!  It differs from Cool De Sac as it focuses on active play.  Kids can have hours of fun crawling through tunnels and over bridges and other obstacles!

They also have a dedicated toddler zone here.

Marche

Marche branch at Suntec City Mall has a FREE playground for kids! So if you are tired from walking around the sprawling mall, you can pop in for a drink while your kids enjoy themselves at the play area.  Of course if you are hungry, Marche has a wide variety of food for you to choose from.

Free Floor Games

Suntec City Mall Snakes & Ladder

Right outside Polliwogs, you can find two floor games.  One is Snakes and Ladders game and the other Hopscotch.  My 4 year old is super into hopscotch and he loves jumping around here!

Toys R Us

Suntec City Mall Toys R Us

All kids LOVE Toys R Us!  When the kids get lethargic, pop by Toys R Us and watch their battery recharge immediately.  The problem is… getting them out.

#3 The Grandstand

They have a dedicated toddler zone.

Kiddy Fun

Kiddy Fun is a newer indoor playground that opened in 2012 when Turf City was rebranded as The Grandstand.  It is quite different from Fidgets World.  Kiddy Fun playground is made up mainly of automated moving play structures.

There is also a dedicated toddler zone here.

Scumptious At The Turf

Scumptious At The Turf is a relatively new restaurant at The Grandstand.  Here, kids can dine for FREE!  And there is a play area for them – no additional fees!

Latte E Miele

Latte E Miele is an Artisan Gelato cafe.  If gelato itself if not enough to entice your kids, then the FREE playground within the cafe should!

> Click here to read more about Latte E Miele <

Treehouse Cafe

Treehouse Cafe was the first eatery to open at The Grandstand offering free play area for kids.  It took over the premises of once-legendary Sol Playground Cafe.  Their two-storey play area has enough to keep kids entertained for a long time! Though I feel their food needs improvement if they want to keep up with the competition.
