Gardens by the Bay turns 5! And the gardens has a series of promotions and activities lined up this coming holidays to celebrate this special milestone!
50% off Friends of the Gardens Membership
Great news my fellow Friends of the Gardens! Sign up or renew a one-year Friends of the Gardens membership in June and enjoy 50 per cent off! That’s right… 50% off your membership!! Existing members, quick go renew! If you’ve been sitting on the fence on whether or not to sign up, stop thinking – Now’s the time to do so!
15% off Conservatories Tickets
If you’re still not convinced to sign up for an annual pass, you can still enjoy 15% off tickets to the conservatories during this celebratory period!
Note that the Cloud Forest will be closed for maintenance on 12 June 2017 (Mon) and Flower Dome will be closed for maintenance on 13 June 2017 (Tue).
Blue Beauties Floral Display
Drop by the flower dome from now till 30 June 2017 and you’ll be greeted by a spectrum of blue and purple flowers. All the photos you see in this post were taken at the Blue Beauties Floral Display!
Set in a French-inspired garden, you would feel like you’re having a stroll in Europe without leaving Singapore. Almost.
Want to find out more botanical facts and anecdotes about the floral display? Join the daily “ASK ME” tours – happening at 11am and 3pm daily. There’s no additional fee for the tour, which lasts approximately 15 minutes. Just gather at the “ASK ME!” poster near the Flower Field within the Flower Dome.
Gardens Extravaganza Special (3 – 4 June only)
On the first weekend of June, be sure to hop over to Supertree Grove for a two-nights only Gardens Extravaganza Special from 7.45pm – 8.15pm.
During this special edition of Gardens Extravaganza, be treated to a display of:
- Aerial Performers
- Video mapping on the Super trees
- Band of drones dancing in the night sky
Remember: Only two shows on 3 and 4 June at 7.45pm – be there!
If you can’t make it that weekend, the nightly Garden Extravaganza light and sound show will continue to show at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, with a stunning video mapping during this celebration period till 30 June 2017.
Fringe Activities (3 – 4 June)
Leading up to the Gardens Extravaganza Special, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and join in the fringe activities happening around the Supetree Grove.
Food stalls will be set up at the lawn at Supertree Grove, so grab your dinner and grab a good spot to catch the show.
Worried that the kids would get bored if you arrive too early? No worries. There will be a Fun Zone where visitors can play virtual reality games, try out 3D pen art, terrarium-making and more!
Also look out for roving dancers and percussionists who will be making their way around the Gardens. And wait for them those LED-lights clad performers to glow in the evening!
And on 4 June, there will be movie screening on the lawn at 5.30pm. Bring your kids to enjoy the screening of animated film Storks!
Admission Fee: Admission to SuperTree Grove is free, but admission fees apply for the conservatories.
