Living in Singapore, Malaysia is the easiest country for us to take a trip to.   We don’t need air tickets.  We can just drive our own car up.  (Though the causeway jams can be quite painful.)  Needless to say, we have taken several family trips up to Malaysia before.  Though I don’t blog always blog about them because frankly most of the time, our trips can be rather mundane.

When we go to Malaysia, we don’t usually have an itinerary.  We just book our hotel and go.  Very often when we’re there, we just go shopping, eat, swim in the hotel pool, sleep, eat, watch a movie, eat, find a playground to let the kids run loose, eat, buy our groceries and come back.  Something along those lines.

So on our blog, most of the time we will just share posts about specific places that we have enjoyed.  Such as the hotels we stayed in.  Or an attraction that the kids particularly loved.   Or a restaurant we really want to recommend.

JOHOR BAHRU

Whether it is just a day trip, or a quick weekend getaway, a visit to Johor Bahru is never mundane.  The city packs loads of good fun, good food, good shopping and good hotels for the days we just want to get out of Singapore for a bit.
