Previously, Tradehub 21, to me, was a place where you go to look at furniture. When I was there years back with hubby to look at furniture, the place was so isolated and depressing! There were some eateries there, and I wondered why anyone (besides people who work there) would go there to eat.
Well… That was until my sister got the family to go there for dinner one Sunday night.. When we arrived, I was surprised by the number of cars around! There was a crowded food court (which was where we were going to eat.. Apparently the 煮炒 (sorry, don’t know how to translate this into English) there is fantastic. There is also Sakae Sushi and Macdonalds there.
The 煮炒 turns out to be really fantastic (well worth the hassle to travel all the way to Jurong from Yishun), and after a very satisfying dinner, my brother suggested we go to Macdonalds for dessert.
As we were walking to Macdonalds, I spotted a playground (located between Macs and Sakae Sushi)! It is called Sakae playground, so clearly it belonds to Sakae Sushi.. But I decided to pop in anyway to take a look. 🙂
There was a see-saw and swings there, similar to what you would find in indoor playgrounds. The dolphin swing, particularly, reminds me of JWT gym.. Which means it’s great for babies! But knowing how much MF hates swings.. I gave it a pass.
I let MF explore the play area. It didn’t take MF long to climb up the zebra staircase, not by crawling up, but by walking up, holding on to the sides.
I didn’t let MF walk any further, because it was kinda difficult for me to follow him through the small playground. But it is great for toddlers who can walk on their own.
Hubby and I are not fans of Sakae Sushi, but if you are, you may want to check out this outlet!
