Singapore Stroller Rental

Singapore Stroller Rental

This page provides information on places where you can rent a stroller in Singapore.  All the rentals are for day-use at the specific shopping centre / place of interest only.  They are not meant for extended use over many days.

If you are a tourist visiting Singapore looking to rent a stroller here, my advise is for you to move around with a baby carrier and rent strollers at the place you are visiting.  Singapore’s public transport can get pretty crowded and it can be difficult to manoeuvre around the crowd with a stroller if you are unfamiliar with the surroundings.

Singapore Stroller Rental at Shopping Malls

Bedok Mall

I have not used the stoller rental at Bedok Mall before, but it is stated on their website that they provide “Complimentary Loan of Baby Stroller”.  Approach their customer service counter for assistance.

CapitaMalls

  • Bishan Junction 8
  • Funan DigitaLife Mall
  • Plaza Singapura
  • Sembawang Shopping Centre

The above shopping centres under CapitaMalls rent out a standard Infantasy stroller for free. The stroller can be reclined (not fully, but good enough) for younger babies.

To rent, look for the Customer Service Counter at the mall and you need to deposit your IC.

Century Square

I haven’t used the stroller rental service here before, but I spotted a poster in the mall that said they provide stroller rental service. To rent, look for the customer service counter at Level 2.

City Square Mall

You can rent a stroller here that is similar to the ones at Changi Airport.

City Square Mall Stroller Rental

They also have kiddy cabs for toddlers that you can rent for free too!

Singapore Stroller Rental - City Square Mall

To rent, visit the Customer Service counter on level 2. You will need to deposit your IC there.

Harbourfront Centre

You can rent a Mothercare ‘Thomas the Train’ stroller for free here. It cannot be reclined and is only suitable for babies who are able to sit upright.

Singapore Stroller Rental - Habourfront Centre

To rent, look for the Customer Service counter on Level 1. You will need to show your IC and they will take down your particulars, but you do not need to deposit your IC there.

Hougang Mall

I haven’t used the stroller rental here before, but a sign at the customer service counter on level 3 that says they provide rental of strollers.

ION Orchard

Living up to expectations as an up-market mall, ION Orchard rents out Maclaren Techno TX strollers for free! The stroller can be fully reclined for younger babies. I especially like this stroller because it has a cover that totally covers up the baby up when he is sleeping.

Singapore Stroller Rental - ION Orchard

To rent, look for the Concierge on Level 1 (not any other concierge) and you need to deposit your IC.

Liang Court

You can rent a sturdy Goodbaby stroller here for free. They are also extremely thoughtful and put a seat protector in the stroller. It can be reclined, not fully, but good enough for small babies.

Singapore Stroller Rental - Liang Court

To rent, look for the customer service desk at Level 2. You will need to deposit your IC.

NEX

You can rent a Combi stroller for free here. It cannot be reclined and is only suitable for babies who are able to sit upright.

To rent, look for the Customer Service counter on Level 1. You will need to deposit your IC.

Orchard Central

I haven’t used the stroller rental here before, but a poster I saw at the shopping mall said they have kiddy prams for rent from their concierge.

Parkway Parade

You can rent a stroller or a kiddy cab here.  Each of them cost $3 per hour ($1.50 for each subsequent half hour).  To rent, approach the customer service desk at Level 1.  You will need to leave a $20 deposit, from which they will deduct the rental cost before returning you the remaining amount when you return the stroller / kiddy cab.

Raffles City

You can rent a stroller for free here. Previously when I rented, I got a Raffles City stroller which cannot be reclined and is only suitable for babies who are able to sit upright.

More recently, I got a Bonbebe stroller which can be reclined, not fully but good enough for young babies.

Singapore Stroller Rental - Raffles City

To rent, look for the concierge on Level 1.

Takashimaya

You can rent a Takashimaya Aprica stroller. The stroller can be fully reclined for younger babies. However, the stroller feels a bit old and unstable, and there is no cover.

To rent, look for the customer service inside Takashimaya department store (level 2), NOT the customer service desk of Ngee Ann City at level 1. They will make a photocopy of your IC, you do not need to deposit it there.

Tampines One

You can rent a Maclaren Volo stroller here for free. The stroller cannot be reclined and is only suitable for babies who are able to sit upright. To rent, look for the customer service counter at Basement 1.

Tiong Bahru Plaza

I have not used the stoller rental at Tiong Bahru Plaza before, but it is stated on their website that they provide rental of baby strollers.  Approach their customer service counter at Level 2 for assistance.

United Square

You can rent a stroller here for free for 3 hours, after which there will be a fee of $10 per half hour. When you rent, they will ask you for the age and weight of the baby and I believe it is for them to find a suitable stroller for you. The stroller I got for 10-month old MF couldn’t be fully reclined and is not suitable for younger babies.

Most shopping centres rent out the stroller for free and you can use it all day, just need to return it before the customer service counter closes. You need to show some identification, so I suppose a passport will do for tourists, and they may ask you to leave a deposit (which will be returned when you return the stroller).

Hi, you can’t rent a stroller for long term use from the airport. The strollers provided at the airport are for use within the airport only.

Hi, I apologize for only replying now. I just shifted my blog out of wordpress.com to my personal domain and this comment only appeared after I did that!

But to answer your question, I do not know of any place that rents twin strollers. All the strollers rented out at shopping centres at single strollers, and they are only for day-use within the shopping centre. I would advise you rent strollers from whichever place you are visiting.

I happened to chance upon this post while researching for Bon Bebe strollers! And thank you for these information! Didn’t know that most malls rent strollers for free! Can you give a review of the Bon Bebe? Are the wheels smooth and easy to handle with minimal fuss, esp with 2 boys? Greatly appreciate your opinions!

I can’t remember my exprience with Bon Bebe strollers since I only used it for a while at the mall. I am using a Peg Perego P3 for my 2 boys and I love it to bits because 1 of them can sit inside and the other one can stand behind and the stroller is rock sturdy.

Great post! My baby and I will be in Singapore for about 30 hours, transit to Sydney. Can you advice me which is the closest stroller rental place to The Inn at Temple Street (hotel) on 36 Temple Street? I would need to rent for the whole 30 hours or if it is close to the hotel then I could rent for the two single days, a day at a time. Thank you so much for your post!

I hope I’m not too late to reply. If I am, I hope you had a great time in Singapore!

All the stroller rentals listed here are only for day use within the shopping mall. You can’t rent them for extended duration nor take them out of the shopping mall. I would advise you rent a stroller from whichever place you are visiting. (e.g. if you are going Orchard, then rent a stroller from ION shopping centre after you reach Orchard).

Thanks for your list. It’s worth knowing Ion only has 5 strollers only. I queued for 10 mins for them to tell me they ran out!
