Haze haze go away, come again another day… You know what, please don’t come back ever if possible.  But that’s highly unlikely and little children want to play nevertheless. So back to “Go Haze, Go Where” series.  This week, let’s visit 10 museums that are not only free from haze, but also absolutely FREE for Singaporeans & PRs – as visited by 10 Parent Bloggers.

2) Singapore Discovery Centre

Singapore Discovery Centre is an edutainment attraction with interactive exhibits to allow visitors to learn about the history of Singapore and gain insight on her future. Try out Singapore’s first immersive 3rd Generation SAF game or watch videos on the 360-degree screen at the Visionarium along with numerous other exciting exihibits. 3) Singapore Navy Museum

At Singapore Navy Museum, kids can try their hands at taking out simulated enemy targets with the weapons that the Navy possesses, navigate a ship through the busy Singapore Strait, steer a submarine underwater, or get a glimpse of what it is like to be a commanding officer of a frigate.  Read more on Miracule.

I think kids, especially the boys, tend to have a fascination over firemen and fire station.  If you kid is like that, check out the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery. Visit the Emergency Preparedness Centre on the second level to learn fire safety tips, emergency preparedness knowledge and life-saving skills through fun-filled and state-of-the-art interactive exhibits! Dress us as policemen and take a tour of this showcase of exhibits that recreate the genesis and development of the Singapore Police Force since the 1800s. 9) Changi Museum

On a more solemn note, Changi Museum is dedicated to all those who lived & died in Singapore, in particular the Changi area, during World War II.  Through documentation of significant events of the Japanese Occupation, the Museum also serves as an important educational institution & resource centre for our younger generation.
