When we visited Singapore Night Safari last holidays, one of the highlights of the visit was the Thumbuakar (fire-spitting) show. It is worthy to mention that this show takes place at the entrance foyer to Singapore Night Safari. Which means you DO NOT need a ticket to Night Safari to watch the show – how cool (or rather hot) is that? Essentially, it is a FREE performance for anyone hanging around the area to see!
There are three show timings each day: 6.45pm, 8pm and 9pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and eve of Public Holidays, there will be an additional show at 10pm. So even if you are visiting Singapore Zoo or River Safari, I recommend that you hang around after your visit, grab your dinner and watch the show before heading home.
Here’s a photo journal of the Thumbuakar show to give you a glimpse of how exciting it was!
The next time you are visiting Singapore Zoo, River Safari or Singapore Night Safari, don’t forget to catch the Thumbuakar show! If you are lucky, you may get called up to participate in the performance. 🙂

The Thumbuakar performance at Singapore Night Safari is awesome! And technically, it is free of charge because the show takes place outside the entrance of Night Safari! Daily at 6.45pm, 8pm and 9pm (additional 10pm show on Fri, Sat and eve of PH). Show will be cancelled in the event of bad weather or strong wind though. @wrs.ig #bumblebeemumplays #nightsafari #singaporezoo #singaporetravel #sgtravel #singaporetrip #singaporefun #singaporewithkids #sgkids #sgparentblogger #sgmombloggers #sgmumbloggers #travelblog #mondayescapes #traveltuesday #wednesdaywanderlust #travelthursday #familyfunfriday #airhead #airheadsflock #sonycamera #sonyalpha6000 #sonya6000 #sonyalpha #sonysg #nofilter
