.txt is conceived and devised by critically acclaimed writers Pooja Nansi and Daryl Qilin Yam.It comprises two text-based visual arts installations that have been inspired by Jurong and its surroundings, drawing materials from existing texts, interviews and original writings.

The installations are located at Jurong East and explore the interaction between language and its specific localities.

About the Artists

Pooja Nansi is the author of two collections of poetry, Stiletto Scars and Love is An Empty Barstool. She was also the writer for the NAC-NTU Writer in Residence (2015-2016) and a recipient of the National Arts Council’s Young Artist Award in 2016 and Singapore’s first Youth Poet Ambassador. Her work has been described as “unflinching, lyrical and quietly honest”.

Daryl Qilin Yam is a writer of prose and poetry, and a co-editor of the SingPoWriMo anthology series by Math Paper Press. His first novel, Kappa Quartet (2016), was longlisted for the inaugural Epigram Books Fiction Prize, and has been released in both Singapore and the U.K.
