Bricks ‘n’ Cubes @ The Cathay (Lego – themed cafe)
UPDATE:  Bricks ‘n’ Cubes Cafe has moved out of The Cathay.  It is now located 350 Joo Chiat Road Singapore 427598.  All the information in this post is for the old branch at The Cathay.  For more information about their new branch, please visit http://www.bricksncubes.sg/.

Today I brought the kids to check out Bricks ‘n’ Cubes, a Lego – themed cafe at the second floor of The Cathay, located near Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

As we approached the cafe, MF immediately recognised the Lego-ish decor and got all excited.

He rushed in, took off his shoes and dashed into the play area. There were plenty of Lego bricks for the kids to play with.

There was one side with Duplo bricks for younger children (2-5 years), but the Lego and Duplo bricks were all mixed up when I was there.

There were priority tables near the play area for families.

There was an iPad at each table with the menu and Lego games as well.

The decor in the cafe was all Lego-ish.

The food, however, was not very Lego-ish. Those rainbow sprinkles was a really weak attempt at being Lego-ish imo. A disappointment considering it was a theme cafe.

Overall, it was a pretty fun cafe to chill out for Lego fans. Definitely worth a revisit with the kids!

Hi Christy! I just saw this comment you left me half a year ago! Somehow it didn’t show up when I was using WordPress.com, it was only after I moved everything to my own domain that your comment (along with like 100 other unread comments *horrors*) showed up on my dashboard. Anyway hope you found time to visit the cafe! 🙂
