Petite Park @ City Square Mall

Petite Park @ City Square Mall is no longer in operation.

Petite Park recently opened a second branch at City Square Mall.

Like the branch at Changi City Point, they have both active play and pretend play areas.  MF and MY started with the pretend play section which was nearer to the entrance.

Of all toys, they started with the train table.  Yes, spend a bomb to bring them to a playground and they play with something they have at home.

1yo MY spent most of his time in the pretend play section, which is great for babies and young toddlers.

The active play area is pretty similar to Singkids‘.

MF’s favourite part of the playground was this merry-go-round.  It is not automated and requires someone to manually push it.  Kinda retro, considering the emergence of automated play equipment in playgrounds opened in recent years.

And the only parts of the active play that MY ventured to were the two ball pit areas.

The playground is not very big but enough to keep the kids occupied the full one hour we were there.  We could probably spend the whole afternoon, with unlimited playtime on weekdays. There is an area for parents to sit and eat /drink while having a full view of the playground.

There is a small party area, nothing to really shout about.

Overall, it is a small and cosy playground, great for babies and young toddlers. I find the entry fee of $18 a bit steep.  But the weekday play pass ($72 for 6 visits, working out to $12 for unlimited play time) which is shareable is a pretty good deal.
