Hi Queen Bee,
Nice to meet you, this is Charly from Malaysia. It’s our pleasure to have seen your post when we planning for our Hokkaido trip. We’re now planning a Hokkaido 7D5N trip and we hope to get some advices from you. 🙂
This is our first time to Hokkaido and we have never see snow or skiing before. This will be 7 days 5 nights trip from January 13th to 19th, 2018 next year, just me and my husband (2 persons). We plan to rent a car to drive ourselves throughout the trip.
May I know what do you think of our Itinerary:
Day 1: 14/1/18 (Sun) 9:00AM arrived at Shin Chitose Airport – Noboribetsu – Date Jidaimura – Jigokudani (Hell Valley) <stay in Noboribetsu>
Day 2: 15/1/18 (Mon) Lake Toya – Mt Usuzan – Bear Ranch – onsen <stay in Noboribetsu/ stay in one of the Ryokan>
Day 3: 16/1/18 (Tues) Skiing in Niseko <stay in Niseko>
Day 4: 17/1/18 (Wed) Otaru – Canal – Odori Park <stay in Sapporo>
Day 5: 18/1/18 (Thu) Sapporo – Branded Factory Outlet <stay in Airport Hotel>
Day 6: 19/1/18 (Sat) 9:00AM return car & back to KL
This is just my first draft of Itinerary & do you think I should replace some of the places above with perhaps:
– Lake Akan/ Lake Mashu
– Tokachi (snow view)
– Hakodate Hill (night view)
`Should we drive from day 1 to day 6 and returning car to the airport? Or we take public transport in Sapporo stay instead? Can recommend us some of the cheapest car rental?
`Any nice & affordable hotel recommended for our stay stated above?
`Which Ryokan with onsen is nice and reasonable price to stay a night?
`Where to ski for your recommend for first timer who need to rent ski equipment? Niseko or Rusutsu?
`Any nice Hokkaido crab or seafood market place to eat?
Thank you very much for your time and we are much appreciated for your help & recommendations! We look forward to hearing from you 🙂
