If you enjoy independent travel, or what we Singaporeans call Free & Easy travels, you would probably have used many websites for booking attraction tickets and day trips etc.
During our recent trip to Thailand, we had the opportunity to work with Klook Travel to try out some of the activities in Bangkok and Pattaya available on their platform. Klook is a travel activity booking platform, where you can book attraction tickets, day trips and other travel experiences through their website or mobile app (iTunes | Google Play).
Immediately after logging in to Klook for the first time, I was like, OMG, is Klook reading my mind?! All these attractions are right along my alley!!
Although I was supposed to be surfing for places to visit for my Thailand trip, I ended up going in to see what they had in Singapore coz you know I love playing local tourist. And I was like WTH, why didn’t I discover Klook earlier??
Remember how I was so freaking happy that my Friends of Wildlife membership gave me 20% discount for the Lunch with Parrots at Jurong Bird Park, and I paid only $20 instead of $25 for the experience? Well, guess what? Klook is selling tickets for Lunch with Parrots for only $18!!! And you don’t even need to be a member. I FELT SO CHEATED CAN??
And that Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife at Singapore Zoo? I could have saved $12 if I had known Klook was selling it for $23 instead of $35! Hello, my friends and I each paid $35 for it. Imagine the amount of money we could have saved collectively!
Basically next time wherever you want to go in Singapore, you should just check if Klook is selling tickets for it first before you head down and pay full price at the door. Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Singapore Cable Car, Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Night Safari… I’ve now got the Klook app installed on my phone and habitually check before I go anywhere when I play local tourist to make sure I don’t lugi (lose out).
Oh, let’s move on to across the causeway. Johor Bahru has lots of fun stuff for kids right? What did I say about Klook reading my mind?? Legoland Malaysia discounted tickets – Check. Hello Kitty / Thomas Town discounted tickets – Check. I have bitten the bullet and paid normal admission fees for Legoland Malaysia, Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town before! If only I knew about Klook then!
How about everyone’s favourite Hong Kong? Klook has discounted admission tickets to all your favourite family attractions in Hong Kong such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park Hong Kong, Ngong Ping 360 etc!
I could go on all day to tell you how happy I was to have found Klook Travel, but I think I’ve said enough. The money I could have saved if I had known about them earlier – I almost wanted to bang my head. But no, I shan’t bang my head. I shall just think about all the money I’m going to save from now on! Muahaha….
So next time before you plan any trip, or even if you are going around Singapore, be sure to check out Klook website, or use their mobile app (iTunes | Google Play), to see if they have anything along your alley!
As if their range of attractions and discounts are not already good enough, Klook also has a credit system which allows you to earn credits on your purchases and by leaving reviews!
Not too sure how the credits are calculated exactly, but after our Thailand trip, I had a bunch of credits in my Klook account which I used to redeem for discounts off my Kidzania tickets back in Singapore. Super happy lah!
